Sister Barbara Ann Zeller Estate

Selling online the personal property collection of the Sister Barbara Ann Zeller Estate including art, antique furniture, decorative arts and collectibles, German wood figurines, and a clown collection. Sister Barbara Ann was the Administrator for the Providence Retirement Home in New Albany, Indiana and the leading force behind the Providence Self Sufficiency Ministries and Guerin Woods in Georgetown, Indiana. Her items have been moved to the Grandview Auction Center in Edwardsville just off I-64 Georgetown Exit #118.

JOSEPH KREMENTZ OIL PAINTING

Late 1800’s original oil on canvas landscape in original frame attributed to Joseph Krementz, no signature, marked 80 in the lower right-hand corner. Joseph Krementz (1840-1928) was born in Germany coming to the United States in 1851 and lived in New Albany, IN, and Louisville, KY. A member of The Wonderland Way Art Club, Krementz was an accomplished portrait, landscape artist and photographer who exhibited with James L. Russell and Speed Museum. The painting in the opinion of local art authorities Kathy Russell Smith, granddaughter of James L. Russell, and her husband Don Smith is attributed to Krementz.

EXTENDED BIDDING

To prevent bid sniping, last-minute bids will extend individual lots using our ‘soft-close’ functionality.

  • If a bid is placed in the last 10 minutes, the lot will remain open for an additional 10 minutes.
  • If any further bidding occurs, the extension timer will reset to 10 minutes.
  • If no further bidding occurs, the lot closes when the timer runs out.
