Iroquois Park is a 725-acre municipal park in Louisville, Kentucky. It was designed by Frederick Law Olmsted, who also designed Louisville’s Cherokee Park and Shawnee Park, at what were the edges of the city. Located south of downtown, Iroquois Park was promoted as Louisville’s Yellowstone. It is built on a large knob covered with old growth forest, and its most prominent features are the scenic viewpoints atop the hill. The summit of Iroquois Park presents an all-at-once vista of the city of Louisville, seen from the south. The park features an amphitheater, basketball courts, 18-hole golf course and a disc golf course. Louisville Metro Parks and partner companies stage concerts, musicals, and other shows each summer at Iroquois Amphitheater. A large attraction – Jack O’ Lantern Spectacular – runs this year October 4 – October 31.

TIPS TO HELP YOU WIN!

We know that the end of an online auction can be a hectic place. Here are some tips & things you should know to help make it a little easier…

MAX BID

Place your max bid and let the system bid for you. In the event two bidders have placed identical max bids, the first bid received will be the successful bid.

EXTENDED BIDDING

To prevent bid sniping, last-minute bids will extend individual lots using our ‘soft-close’ functionality.

  • If a bid is placed in the last 10 minutes, the lot will remain open for an additional 10 minutes.
  • If any further bidding occurs, the extension timer will reset to 10 minutes.
  • If no further bidding occurs, the lot closes when the timer runs out.
